Around the Cité du Vin and the Bassins à Flot, Bacalan has become the neighbourhood of unusual floor plans: former warehouses converted into lofts, contemporary buildings with terraces, the Sunday market at Les Douves. Tram line B serves the whole area. Prices stay below the city centre's, around €4,600/m².
